FirstAttribute AG is an independent cloud service and software company specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM) for AD and M365.
Since our foundation in 2001, we have successfully supported many well-known medium-sized and large companies in Germany and internationally.
Our dedicated team of IAM specialists is fully committed to the satisfaction of our customers and users.

20th anniversary in 2021
In 2021, FirstAttribute celebrates its 20th anniversary. Since its foundation by Andreas Martin in 2001, the company has grown steadily and now counts many dedicated employees among its ranks throughout Germany.
Passion and perseverance, partnership and honesty, all these attributes help us to succeed. We are proud and happy about what we have achieved and are pleased with all our employees about this milestone in our company history.

Our history
2001
Foundation of FirstAttribute AG by Andreas Martin.
First Attribute’s vision is to support companies in the implementation of comprehensive directory services and the development of directory enabled applications.
2002-2008
Continuous growth of the company.
Large companies, such as ADAC, BASF, BGW, INA Schaeffler Group or Vattenfall trust in the expertise of FirstAttribute AG. The company is increasingly establishing itself as a specialist in the field of Active Directory and migrations.
2009-2014
Increase in customer projects in the area of IAM.
FirstAttribute increasingly supports customers in the areas of self-management of identities and authorization. A deeper understanding of the requirements of our customers lead to the further development of the in-house IAM software.
2014/15
Creation of IDM-Portal.
A user-centric IAM solution that can be used either as a simple employee portal or as a more advanced integrative and comprehensive IAM solution.
2018
Transition to cloud provider.
Innovation and user orientation are anchored in our DNA.The opening of the new company headquarters in Hofstetten also marks the focus on cloud services. We have an established partner network to support us in sales.
2021+
A new era with my-IAM Cloud Service and MS Teams.
Our new my-IAM Cloud Service 2021 helps customers and users of Microsoft Teams with identity and authorization management. Topics such as mobility, agility, governance and compliance come together to securely support the transformation of digitalization.

Our services
Our IDM-Portal software is used by many customers worldwide to perform user-oriented identity & authorization management in a hybrid world of Active Directory, Azure AD and M365.
The spectrum of use ranges from user-friendly information and self-service portals to comprehensive identity & access management with many connected systems, even outside the Microsoft world, such as SAP.
We pay particular attention to user orientation. We are convinced that efficient and secure identity & access management is only possible with self-explanatory interfaces and self-services.
With our new my-IAM platform, we are specifically addressing M365 users. New types of collaboration and new cloud services, such as Teams, require new cloud-based identity & authorization solutions.
