With IDM-Portal, FirstAttribute provides a very individual self-service password reset solution. This exceeds the functional scope of usual standard tools. Functions, interfaces and workflows are freely assembled. An important feature, because IDM-Portal adapts to the circumstances of the company – not the other way around.
Crucial: user focus and custom functionality
Specially tailored self-service functions were crucial for this customer. In fact, IDM-Portal offers basic password reset functionality, just like other SSPR solutions. However, it is essential that individual requests are possible with IDM-Portal.
In addition to the password reset function for external users, users are able to create new accounts themselves. This individual function can receive certain approvals via masks.
Customized – but no programmed solution necessary
The customized Self Service Password Reset solution based on IDM-Portal is configured but not programmed. This is made possible by our SmartPages technology and low-code configuration, which creates web pages in real time.
AD, Microsoft 365 and Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)
The customer runs a hybrid user management with on-premise Active Directory and Microsoft 365. The Active Directory provides the basis for the customized Self Service Password Reset Portal. The service is provided securely as a web application, but also externally.
